HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Fort Meigs Cemetery Staff!

ON MARCH 15, 2024 the cemetery staff will begin the removal of all winter/Christmas decorations.

Cemetery will be blocked off and closed April 8, 2024. No burials will be done. Visitors will have one way in and out. Due to solar eclipse events. 

PUBLIC NOTICE.  Fort Meigs Union Cemetery grave prices will increase as of November 1, 2024.  Please contact the cemetery office for details or to make an appointment to purchase ahead of the increase.  Phone 419-874-7881, Monday through Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

Recently we have found evidence of person or persons chalking and using markers on headstones.  This is not legal and falls under defacing of the headstones.  Please discontinue this practice.

There will be a Special Board Meeting to be held on February 6, 2025 at 10:30 A.M. at the Cemetery Office.
